About MYTOWN
MYTOWN Coalition is a community-driven organization dedicated to creating a drug-free environment in Hoquiam, Washington. Our coalition brings together diverse stakeholders including youth, parents, educators, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
Since our establishment, we have been working tirelessly to implement evidence-based prevention strategies, provide educational resources, and foster meaningful connections within our community.

Join Our Prevention Squad
The Grizzly Prevention Squad (GPS) is making waves in our community! Our dedicated team recently participated in the Night of 1,000 Stars DUI emphasis patrol, demonstrating our commitment to keeping our roads safe. Join us in our mission to create positive change and build a stronger, healthier Hoquiam.
Hoquiam Hero Award: Anne Foster
My Town Coalition has honored Anne Foster with the Hoquiam Hero Award — a well-deserved recognition for someone who's making real (swimming pool) waves in our community. Anne's lifelong love of swimming turned into a powerful mission: making sure every child in Grays Harbor has the chance to learn how to swim and stay safe around water. Her passion led to action — and more than $1 million in donations to the YMCA of Grays Harbor to support swim safety programs across 13 school districts.

Congratulations to Will and Jennifer Catron, our Hoquiam Heroes! They were honored at the All District band concert on May 30th for their dedication to the Hoquiam Music Department and Hoquiam Band Backers for their work over the last DECADE ❤️
